Well if you grew up in the 90's you for sure have heard of the store Hot Topic. It was the dark dungeon in the mall the place for all the misfits and freaks alike to get all their goth gear and piercing paraphernalia. If it was dark and undead you could find it there, It pumped out the seedy underground music that you wouldn't hear on the radio not to mention the only place to find every color of the rainbow in hair dye. There was even a piercing and tattoo requirement to work there. It was a place of magic and mayhem and just pure heaven for people like me. But sadly if you go there now it's bright as hell and you hear pop music coming from inside. The pierced and tattooed freaks that used to greet you are replaced with fresh faced teens who have no idea who Marilyn Manson or NIN are. I mean they sell Justin Bieber T-shirts for Christ sakes i mean back in the day they would have kicked you out for walking in wearing a Justin Bieber shirt. .......I am saddened by the changes to my favorite store. Where am i going to get all my piercing stuff from now?? I went in there yesterday to get a new tongue ring and they only have two kinds to choose from WTF you can get all the ear stretchers and plugs you want they had two cases full of them but god forbid you have anything else pierced your shit out of luck. I used to get my living dead dolls there but they stopped carring them so i guess I'll have to see if i can get them on eBay now......I understand you have to change with the times but don't lose you edge that is what made you popular in the first place. People went in there to find stuff no one else had. I could buy a Justin Bieber shirt anywhere (not that i would lol) . What about the underground music that no one else carries like the revolting cocks or car fax abbey? For crying out loud man no matter what decade it is you will always have teenage angst that shit never goes out of style. All i have to say is just bring back my dark dungeon and tattooed freaks don't sell out......Justin Bieber T-shirts WTF that's like blasphemy....Just Sayin
